Social Affairs Department Holds “Divyangjan Camp” at LNJP Hospital

In a bid to provide public services to specially disabled people under one roof without hassle, the social welfare department organized “Divyangjan Camp” at Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Hospital on Friday. On this occasion, Minister of Social Affairs Rajendra Pal Gautam said: “The purpose of these camps is to ensure that public services are accessible to divyangjan without hassle. We organize such camps in all districts of Delhi to help the citizens and also to ensure that their grievances are addressed.
In this camp, citizens of Divyang receive various kinds of services such as Disability Certificate, Unique Identity Card for Persons with Disabilities (UDID), Digital Disability Certificate, Delhi Transport Pass Corporation (DTC), rail pass, loan, etc. the same day. Along with this, citizens were also made aware of the social welfare programs run by the Delhi government in the national capital.
The concept behind Disability Assistance Camp is that all facilities should be provided for specially disabled people under one roof so that their problems can be resolved quickly and they do not have to travel to different offices to their tasks.
