RTC Presidency returns to North Telangana again

Nizamabad: Bajireddy Govardhan was sworn in on Monday as the new chairman of the North Telangana RTC, following the selection by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.

Previously, the Karimnagar District MP of Ramagundam Somarapu Satyanarayana was appointed RTC Rookie Chairman after the formation of the Telangana Road Transport Corporation.

Somarapu Satyanarayana belongs to the Munnurukapu social class, and for the second time the same social class legislator has obtained the post of chairman of the RTC. Nizamabad TRS government officials, leaders and workers of the Nizamabad party traveled to Hyderabad on Monday to mark the occasion when Nizamabad rural lawmaker Bajireddy Govardhan took over the chairmanship of the Telangana State RTC.

Minister of Municipal Affairs and Informatics Kalwakuntla Taraka Rama Rao, Ministers Vemula Prashant Reddy, Local Bodies MLC Kavithamma, Nizamabad MLA Bigala Ganesh Gupta, Armor MLA Jeevan Reddy, MLC Gangadhar Goud, Rajya Sabha members Suresh Reddy, Zilla Parishad President Vittal Rao , RTC Director General Sajjanar, Former MLC Arikela Narsareddy, President of Rajeshwar Library, Nizamabad Finance and Planning Members Zilla Parishad Bajireddy Jagan Mohan, Members of Rural Constituency of Nizamabad, ZPTC, Vice – MPs, sarpanches, MPTCs, the president of the society, the presidents of the parties, the party activists and the representatives of the public were present.

Govardhan then thanked the chief minister for the post. “I will work under the instructions of the KCR to see that the RTC is on a lucrative path,” he added.

TSRTC MD Sajjannar said efforts will be made to gain more income and benefits through more buses for safe travel. “The well-being of RTC employees is essential as we focus on generating income,” he added.
