LAWRENCEVILLE, Georgia., August 24, 2021 / PRNewswire / – Irrimax Corp., a U.S. medical device maker, is supporting emergency relief efforts following the recent devastating earthquake in Haiti. By partnering with the Medishare project, through a partnership with Infection Reduction Partners (IRP), Irrimax has donated a substantial amount of its proprietary antimicrobial wound wash, distributed worldwide under the name Irrisept.®.

“The events that Haiti lived are very painful. A connection with Project Medishare and IRP has given us the opportunity to lend a helping hand to an organization that does such vital work during times of extraordinary need, ”said Michel gil, executive vice president of Irrimax Corp.

Irrisept’s packaging has significant utility for first responders and medical operations in the field, allowing for easy transport and immediate use, regardless of the environment.

Essential medical supplies and services, such as wound irrigation systems, can help reduce infections and improve patient outcomes, two primary goals of Irrimax. Many healthcare facilities and hospitals were damaged by the earthquake, adding to the challenges facing patients and healthcare workers.

“A need for medical care without adequate operational resources is a sad reality for Haiti“Says Gil.” We hope that the use of our product, Irrisept, may meet urgent medical needs. “Irrisept’s shipment is expected to arrive in Haiti, as well as other much-needed supplies and equipment in the coming days.
