Hyderabad Metro Rail and Star Maa launch ‘Bigg Boss is watching you’ campaign
Hyderabad: Hyderabad Metro Rail and Star Maa launched the ‘Bigg Boss is watching you’ campaign on Saturday to promote public safety among commuters.
Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad Limited (L&TMRHL), Bigg Boss Season 6 Host Superstar Nagarjuna Akkineni, L&TMRHL Corporate Communications Manager Anindita Sinha and Star Corporate Head Maa Raghava Vaidyula were present at the public safety awareness campaign poster launch.
The campaign is trying to promote safe travel instructions for Hyderabad metro passengers.
Here are the instructions for passengers
- Use the elevators/stairs/escalators to move from platform to platform.
- Do not cross the yellow lines at the Hyderabad Metro platform
- Do not use a cell phone during embarkation and disembarkation.
- Wait for passengers to disembark before boarding.
- Ladies seats are reserved for ladies.
- Go digital for ticket booking.
Apart from this, the official L&T Hyderabad Metro Rail Twitter account has posted more safety measures.
Urging the passengers to cooperate with her, she asks them not to slip on the escalators. He also urges them not to leave children alone on escalators.
A woman injured in a subway station
Recently, a woman was injured at the Hitec City subway station. Following the incident, the L&TMRHL launched an awareness campaign. He also released a statement after the incident.
In the statement, L&T Hyderabad Metro Rail mentioned: “The passenger was found climbing the hastily moving escalator. She injured herself on the escalator but did not realize her injury and headed for the platform, duly buying a ticket and going through security checks. Some other passengers pointed out the blood marks on her toe and they also approached the Continental Coffee Shop and later the station controller’s office.
Dismissing a media claim, he said: “The ‘pool of blood’ that is mentioned in the report is nothing but water that was poured on the wound by the other passengers.
Giving details of the actions taken after the incident, he mentioned that she also received help and first aid from subway staff. She was also offered wheelchair assistance.”
Hyderabad Metro Rail and TSRTC reach agreement
Recently, in order to facilitate travel for the residents of the Twin Cities, L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Limited and Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) entered into an agreement.
The deal will not only strengthen the public transport system in Hyderabad and Secunderabad but also avoid traffic jams.
It will also provide first and last mile connectivity service in Hyderabad.
