DTC bus depots for electric buses will soon be ready in Delhi

Deputy Director General of DTC (Traffic and Public Relations) Ravinder Singh Minhas told IANS in September that Delhi would start receiving its first 300 electric buses from January, as the tender for the even has matured.

According to official sources, these buses will be controlled by the DTC and operated by private entities. Under the agreement, the operator will provide the driver and the DTC will designate its own driver on the buses.
