Hyderabad: The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) will operate special buses and establish four communication centers in Hyderabad during Dasara.

TSRTC Chairman and CEO VC Sajjanar said the centers will be established at Rathifile Bus Station (Ph.No.9959226154) at Koti Bus Station (Ph.No.9959226160) at Mahatma Bus Station Gandhi (Ph.No.9959226257) at Jubilee Bus Station (Ph .No.9959226246).

The centers will operate 24 hours a day from October 6 to 14. For the convenience of the general public, the communication cells will provide all information, including timetables, destination and prices.

Special packages have been announced for groups intending to visit specific locations. As part of the plan, a group will receive a special bus. People can contact the communication cell and book the buses accordingly.

Labor contractors can coordinate with communication cells and book buses from the nearest depots. Students can also book the buses after contacting the communication units.

The uniqueness of TSRTC is that the buses pick up commuters at their chosen location. TSRTC agents will be physically present to monitor operations at LB Nagar X Road, Uppal X Road, Jubilee Bus Station, Aramghar and Kukatpally.

Enough cops will be deployed to ensure people are not using private vehicles. Officials urged commuters to board TSRTC buses for safety and security reasons.
