The Outstanding Community Organization Award celebrates an organization that works to improve the social, cultural or environmental well-being of the community.

The Community Transport Company will now represent the Mid North Coast as a finalist for the prestigious State Business Awards on Friday, November 26, 2021.

Community Transport Company CEO Bethany Langford paid tribute to her team of 141.

“This award is a testament to the hard work and love put into the community by each of my team members,” she said.

“We have 108 volunteers who give more than 25,000 hours per year to transport frail, elderly, disabled or otherwise disadvantaged people in terms of transportation.

“Our staff are incredibly productive and do an incredible job for our community, and they absolutely deserve this honor,” said Ms. Langford.

The Community Transport Company has been in existence for 37 years and has more than 5,700 customers.
