The EC challenged the former president to provide evidence to validate his claims or otherwise.

EC Dares Mahama

During its “Let the Citizen Know” series aimed at providing an update on the 2020 elections, the EC said; The former president said the EC’s thumb printed 1 million ballots in favor of the president. It’s wrong. This is a serious issue that undermines the credibility of our electoral process and should not be ignored. We call on him to provide evidence to support his claim. “

The Commission asked the police to take up the matter saying that “this is not an issue to be ignored and we ask the Ghana Police Service to investigate this matter”.

Nationally, we had no problem with excessive voting in all of our 38,622 polling stations except in Savelugu during the legislative elections where there was one and I repeat excessive voting. John Mahama’s claims

Nana Akomea slams Mahama

Nana Akomea refuted former President Mahama’s claims that the EC cannot rig the elections.
